Job Summary: 

Audit Officer

This is a specialized internal audit role within the foreign currency exchange division of MCB Exchange, based across multiple major cities in Pakistan (Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Karachi).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct branch audits covering cash counts and vouching of foreign currency buy/sell transactions.

Verify compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and internal exchange policies.

Examine documentation for customer due diligence (CDD/KYC) records.

Identify control gaps, prepare audit observations, and recommend corrective actions.

Prepare audit reports for submission to the Head of Internal Audit.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the above areas.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience: 1–2 years of relevant audit experience, preferably in exchange companies or financial services.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of foreign exchange operations and currency transaction workflows.

Travel: Willingness to travel for branch audits.

Age: Not more than 40 years as of 05 October 2026.
