Job Summary / Major Responsibilities
Risk Assessment: Comprehensive all-inclusive risk assessment in line with credit principles (Bank Credit Policy Manual, Risk Management Policy & SBP PRs/guidelines etc.) of SME/assigned portfolio. Recommend approval/rejection of credit proposals based on qualitative/quantitative aspects to ensure adequate loan portfolio quality and minimize credit losses.
Turnaround Time (TAT): Finalize all Credit Proposals within the pre-defined Turn Around Time to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Due Diligence: Develop detailed Due Diligence reports on a prudent basis, covering economic/industry conditions, business sustainability, and obligor-specific parameters. Evaluate the credit need of the obligor based on working capital and business cyclicality.
Collateral Analysis: Review stock reports, valuation reports, and search reports for precise collateral cushion analysis. Identify key risk areas and recommend necessary risk mitigation/avoidance/elimination actions.
Credit Assessment: Revalidate Financial Spreads, Obligor Risk Rating, ESRM criteria, Facility Risk Rating, and calculate Expected Credit Loss (ECL) for diligent credit assessment, ensuring loans don't negatively impact the bank's profitability and balance sheet quality (Risk and Return).
Monitoring & Compliance: Regular monitoring and follow-ups on special approval terms (Covenants), Deferrals, Package/Limit expiries, etc., to mitigate potential risks on an ex-ante basis under the Dynamic Loan Monitoring Mechanism.
Client Visits: Conduct visits to various clients as required/advised by the respective Unit Head to stay updated on industry dynamics and analyze the customer's business model.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a HEC recognized Local/Foreign University. Preference will be given to Master's Degree holders.
Age: Up to 55 years as of the date of application.
Experience: Minimum 02 Years' Experience, including Banking/Non-Banking. Preference shall be given to candidates having relevant experience.
