Job Description
Required Qualification:
MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Textile Management, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering with a business degree is also highly preferred.
Sufficient understanding of textile costing (weaving, dyeing, processing, and CMT).
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP software.
Strong negotiation skills, excellent English communication (written and verbal), and a determined business acumen.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 to 8 years of core marketing and merchandising experience within the Home Textile sector (Bedding, Towels, Curtains, or Linens).
Proven track record of managing international or large-scale domestic retail accounts within a large textile group.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary bridge between international clients and internal production teams to ensure smooth order execution from inquiry to shipment.
Develop accurate product cost sheets by analyzing raw material prices, manufacturing overheads, and currency fluctuations to ensure profitable margins.
Collaborate with the R&D and design teams to present innovative product lines, fabrics, and finishes aligned with current global market trends.
Identify and pitch to prospective global buyers, participate in international textile exhibitions (e.g., Heimtextil), and expand the company's market footprint.
Work closely with PPC (Production Planning & Control), Quality Assurance, and Procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery and strict adherence to buyer compliance standards.
