Job Summary:

Taskeen is looking for a Finance Officer to join its team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting or finance, strong analytical skills, and a passion for working in the development sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, donor requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Support audit processes and documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist in financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a similar finance role (experience in the development sector is a plus).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
