About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Infrastructure/System Engineer to join our team in Islamabad. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, OpenStack, or OpenNebula
• Administer Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including user management, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and directory services
• Maintain and manage organizational LAN, WAN, VPN, and other infrastructure components
• Implement and support infrastructure security practices and tools
• Provide technical support and system troubleshooting, ensuring high availability and performance
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and solutions
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new deployments
• Utilize monitoring and log management tools to maintain proactive system health and performance
   

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2–3 years of proven experience in a System/Infrastructure Engineer role
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu/CentOS preferred)
• Experience with VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi) and/or OpenStack/OpenNebula
• Good understanding of Active Directory, networking concepts, and directory services
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skill
• Effective communication, documentation, and team collaboration abilities
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is a plus
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Icinga, Zabbix, Grafana, etc., is a plus
