Audit & Compliance Executive

About the Role

TAJ GASOLINE is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical professional to join our team as an Audit & Compliance Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company's operations, financial processes, and retail outlets adhere to internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities 

Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits of financial records, operational processes, and inventory management across various retail sites and head office.

Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal corporate governance frameworks.

Risk Assessment: Identify areas of financial or operational risk and recommend effective internal controls to mitigate them.

Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting discrepancies, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, presenting findings to senior management.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with different departments to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and prevent revenue leakage.

Site Inspections: Conduct physical inspections of gas stations to verify standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: MBA, ACCA, or CA (Part Qualified).

Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in audit, compliance, or financial control (experience in the oil & gas, retail, or FMCG sectors is a plus).

Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and a high level of integrity.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and cross-departmental coordination.
