JOB OVERVIEW
Utopia Industries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager – Industrial Engineering to lead the Industrial Engineering function for our Bedding Division, including Mattress Pads, Comforters, Pillows, Quilts, and other Bedding Products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement capacity planning and resource planning to achieve production targets efficiently.

Ensure maximum utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources while minimizing operational losses.

Design, review, and optimize production layouts to improve workflow, reduce material movement, and enhance operational efficiency.

Conduct detailed Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify waste and implement sustainable process improvements.

Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S, Continuous Improvement (CI), and waste elimination projects.

Establish (SOPs), standard minute values (SMVs), line balancing, and productivity benchmarks.

Analyze production performance, efficiency, capacity utilization, and labor productivity, and recommend corrective actions.

Monitor machine utilization, bottlenecks, and process flow to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

REQUIREMENT

8-10 years of relevant Industrial Engineering experience in the Home Textile or Bedding Manufacturing Industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Strong expertise in Capacity Planning and Resource Allocation.

Excellent knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Strong understanding of Production Planning, Line Balancing, Time & Motion Study, Work Measurement, and Productivity Analysis.

Experience in Factory Layout Planning and Process Optimization.

Knowledge of SMV calculation, manpower planning, and machine utilization.

Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
