Senior Merchandiser

Role Overview:
Matrix is looking for a Senior Merchandiser for Knit and Denim categories to work with premium international fashion and lifestyle brands. The role requires an in-depth understanding of standards and expectations, attention to detail, responsiveness, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end merchandising for Knit and Denim, including development, pre-production, production coordination, buyer communication, and approvals.

Manage day-to-day communication and follow-ups with international buyers.

Coordinate pre-production activities, including tech packs, costing, sampling, and approvals.

Liaise closely with manufacturing partners to ensure buyer requirements are clearly communicated and executed.

Monitor production progress, maintain critical timelines and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure buyers receive accurate, timely and professional updates throughout the development and production cycle.

Maintain complete and accurate records, trackers, timelines and correspondence.

Use AI and digital productivity tools selectively and effectively to support communication, reporting and operational efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate:

Degree in textile/apparel merchandising, with hands-on exposure to development, production coordination, buyer communication and approvals.

Passionate, motivated and eager to grow professionally.

Experienced in managing multiple projects, with exposure to premium brands.

Exceptionally organized, meticulous and attentive to detail.

Professional, articulate and confident in written and verbal communication.

Demonstrates ownership, accountability and initiative rather than waiting for instructions.

Comfortable working with digital platforms, MS Office and relevant AI productivity tools.
