Qualifications & Skills Required
- DAE in Mechanical or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in seawater desulfurization maintenance for boilers of thermal power units above 300MW.
- Knowledge of handling and verifying work tickets, applying pre-control measures, and starting work processes.
- Strong understanding of power industry production safety processes, safety operating procedures, and ability to coordinate and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with overhaul specifications, maintenance of boiler desulfurization equipment, and technical standards of desulfurization and ancillary equipment.
- Knowledge of coupling centering processes and methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspection, servicing, and maintenance of crushers to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Perform detailed inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of roller screens for proper material flow and screening.
- Inspect, align, and maintain belt conveyors for smooth transportation of materials.
- Inspect and service bucket elevators to ensure vertical material handling and prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain and repair stacker reclaimers for efficient bulk material handling.
- Maintain and calibrate coal weighing scales for accurate measurement and control of feed.
- Inspect and maintain magnetic separators for removal of ferrous contaminants.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain bag filters for effective filtration and emission control.
- Collaborate with team members to diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions.
