Manager Woven Garments

About the Role:

Required Qualification:

• Graduate / Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a relevant discipline.

• Master's degree will be an added advantage.

   

Experience:

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in garments sewing operations (denim and/or woven bottoms, jackets, etc.).
• At least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in a large-scale export manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage the complete sewing operations to achieve delivery, quality, & productivity targets.
• Ensure efficient line balancing, manpower planning, and capacity utilisation.
• Implement and maintain quality standards in line with customer requirements (e.g. Inditex, M&S, etc.).
• Drive operational excellence by reducing wastage, rework, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, audits, and social & safety standards.
• Coordinate with IE, planning, PMC, maintenance, and QA teams for smooth workflow.
• Develop and lead a high-performing sewing operations team.
• Identify areas for process improvement, automation, and skill development.
