HSE Specialist / Officer

Job Overview:
We are currently looking for an HSE Specialist/Officer to join our technical/Safety Department at the Tharparakar site within the coal mining industry. The role will involve supporting the establishment and implementation of HSE systems, conducting safety inspections, organizing safety training, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental protection requirements.

Responsibilities:

Assist in establishing and implementing the HSE management system and formulating safety and environmental protection regulations.

Conduct daily safety inspections of high-risk areas, identify unsafe conditions and practices, and take appropriate action to stop violations.

Organize safety education programs, toolbox talks, and special safety training for employees.

Chair safety meetings, review safety performance, and analyze accident/incident cases to identify preventive measures.

Report work safety accidents and incidents truthfully and promptly in accordance with company procedures and requirements.

Complete other HSE-related tasks assigned by the department leaders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or above in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

At least 1 year or above experience is required. Prior HSE/Safety work experience in a Mining, Energy, Construction, Industrial, or similar environment will be preferred.

Good knowledge of workplace safety policies, HSE management systems, and safety inspection procedures.

Good command of English communication skills; Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Have good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in field/mining environments and conduct routine safety inspections in high-risk areas.

Note: Tharparakar or nearby residents will be given priority.
