Job Available – Institute of Business Management

Position: Officer, HR

Job Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree (preferably)

Experience & Training: At least 2 years of job-related experience

Personal Competencies: Good at time management, be a team player, be good at follow-up mechanism

Technical Competencies: Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and well versed with different computer packages/software including HRIS, in particular

Principal Functions:

 Assist Advisor to EDA through Senior Assistant Manager HR to prepare draft advertisements.

 Prepare a consolidated statement of all shortlisted applications received with name, address, telephone numbers, qualification, experience and current employer with the position held.

 Forward the above statement to the concerned HoD for review and to shortlist applications.

 Invite short listed candidates for panel interview

 Prepare comparative analysis for the recommended candidate and schedule an interview with ED Admin.

 Prepare Letter of Appointment for issuance to newly joined staff.

 Forward copies of appointment letters/contracts after their issuance to Accounts Department for preparation of salary.

 Formatting Probation Evaluation Form of employees completing probation period to the concerned HoD.

 Maintain up-to-date data of all employees.

 Allocation of offices of newly hired employees.

 Issue letters for initiation of disciplinary action against the employees violating Institutional rules.

 Any other task as assigned by Senior Assistant Manager HR and Advisor to EDA.

 Responsible for and to and process of hiring for all categories of employees.

 Prepare comparative analysis statement of prospective employees before the final offer is made.
