Production Officer

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee and monitor daily production processes, ensuring they run efficiently and in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Ensure Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to food safety guidelines, quality control measures, and hygiene standards, including HACCP and GMP requirements.

Lead a Team: Supervise and guide frontline production staff to achieve daily output targets and maintain operational excellence.

Maintain Records & Reporting: Keep accurate production records, prepare reports, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Assist in new product development initiatives and work on continuous process improvements to optimize production workflows and minimize waste.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences, Food Technology, or a related field is typically required. A BSc/BA is often listed as the minimum qualification.

Experience: The role generally requires 4 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector. However, the company also hires fresh graduates for entry-level production positions, so candidates with less experience may also be considered for certain roles.

Key Skills & Knowledge

Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of food production processes, quality assurance principles, and safety protocols is essential. Knowledge of production planning and process optimization is highly valued.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot production issues and drive improvements.

Soft Skills: The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage a team, and coordinate with cross-functional departments (like Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Engineering) is crucial.
