Job Summary:

Digital District is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in working with the FBR portal and a solid grasp of Pakistani tax regulations and slabs. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing tax data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily bookkeeping and monthly financial records
• Prepare and submit tax-related data in compliance with FBR regulations
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and handle all matters related to the FBR portal
• Provide financial reports and summaries to management as required
• Maintain and reconcile accounts using accounting software/tools
• Support internal controls and help improve accounting procedures
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with the FBR portal
• Strong understanding of Pakistani tax laws and tax slabs
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
