About the Role

deas Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and skilled Garment Technologist specializing in Western apparel. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of garment construction, fit, and quality from development to production. This role requires a deep understanding of the entire production system and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the garment construction process for Western apparel.
• Conduct detailed fit analysis and lead fit sessions to ensure design integrity and customer satisfaction.
• Create and manage comprehensive tech packs and specification sheets.
• Utilize CAD software for pattern-making and design modifications.
• Communicate clearly with designers, manufacturers, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Apply strong knowledge of warehouse and complete production systems to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree/diploma in Fashion Technology, Garment Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5–6 years of relevant experience, preferably from the textile industry.
  • Must have: Knowledge of warehouse systems and the complete production system.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, and fit analysis.
• Proficiency in tech packs, spec sheets, and CAD software (e.g., Lectra, Gerber, Optitex).
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to designers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
