Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Manager of Engineering to lead our plant engineering operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in a food manufacturing environment, responsible for overseeing a cross-functional team and ensuring the technical excellence and efficiency of our plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional engineering team covering E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation), Mechanical, HVAC, and Project Engineering disciplines.
• Oversee all engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop, manage, and control the engineering department’s annual budget, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective use of resources.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance, reliability, and safety.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., Production, Quality Assurance) to support operational goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical Engineering).
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in the Ice Cream or Dairy sector.
• At least 3-5 years of proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, managing technical teams.
• Strong project management and budget management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
