We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Area Manager / District Manager to oversee and drive the performance of multiple stores. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in multi-unit management within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
Key Responsibilities
The Area Manager / District Manager will be responsible for the operational excellence and commercial success of all stores in their assigned district. Key duties include:
- Operational Oversight: Conduct regular branch visits to monitor daily operations, service quality, cleanliness, food quality, and ensure full brand compliance.
- Performance Management: Analyze sales trends, profitability, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Team Leadership & Development: Coach, mentor, and support Store Managers and Assistant Managers to enhance their performance and leadership skills.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to Subway’s operational standards, food safety protocols, and hygiene regulations.
- Marketing Execution: Implement and monitor the effectiveness of promotional and marketing campaigns at the store level.
- Staffing Management: Oversee staffing plans, including recruitment, scheduling, training, and retention of key personnel.
- New Store Openings: Support and manage the successful launch of new stores, including training new teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Supply Chain, and Training departments to resolve operational challenges efficiently.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed monthly operational performance reports to the Regional Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in multi-store or area-level management.
- Proven experience in QSR or restaurant chains (e.g., Subway, McDonald’s, KFC) is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, compliance, and food safety.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and operational metrics.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned region.
