Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage the warehouse operations at Atco Pharma. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and safe handling of raw materials and finished goods, in alignment with GMP and GSP standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the issuance of starting materials to the Production Department in accordance with production schedules.
  • Manage the dispatch of finished goods to the Sales and Distribution Departments based on demand.
  • Ensure full compliance with current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GSP (Good Storage Practices) across all warehouse units.
  • Develop, issue, and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.
  • Train and develop warehouse staff to maintain high performance and compliance standards.
  • Ensure smooth inventory operations and transaction accuracy, coordinating closely with the Accounting Department.
  • Maintain quality compliance and ensure audit readiness for internal and external inspections.
  • Identify and evaluate workplace hazards, risk factors, and environmental aspects, ensuring mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Enforce adherence to company procedures for receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
  • Be an active contributor to the emergency response plan and its execution when required.
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency and hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  • Solid background in warehouse operations and systems management.
