Job Summary:

Aisha Steel Mills Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive – EHS to join its team at the Port Qasim plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) practices across plant operations, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with national and international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and environmental audits to identify and address potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SEPA, EPA, and other environmental and occupational health laws.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Organize and conduct EHS training sessions for plant staff and contractors.
• Maintain detailed EHS documentation, including reports, permits, and records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Monitor waste management, emission control, and other environmental protection activities on site.
   

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BE) in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on industrial experience in EHS roles (preferably in the manufacturing or steel industry)
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, reporting systems, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently at a fast-paced plant site
