Job Description
Job Summary:
PLC Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager – Store Incharge to lead and manage its warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom warehousing, inventory management, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) operations. This role is critical for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the supply chain and ensuring proper storage and distribution of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods
- Handle inventory management and ensure timely record-keeping in the WMS
- Ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with company SOPs
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to align stock and dispatch operations
- Train and supervise warehouse staff to meet performance and safety standards
Prepare reports related to stock levels, discrepancies, and warehouse activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing (preferably in telecom sector)
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong understanding of inventory and store management practices
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
