Job Summary:
Naveena Steel is seeking a Deputy Manager – Import to oversee and manage end-to-end import operations. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating with vendors and authorities, and streamlining processes for efficient import management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete import process from order placement to delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all import regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with vendors, shipping agents, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and review import documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
   

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in import operations, preferably in the steel or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of import laws, regulations, and documentation.
• Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP knowledge is a plus.
