Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Officer to supervise our maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our mechanical equipment and systems through effective supervision and hands-on leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all mechanical maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools to ensure availability for maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting production.
• Prepare maintenance reports and documentation on equipment performance and issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Mechanical Technology is required.
• Experience: 5 to 7 years of proven supervisory experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Required Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machinery.
• Proficiency in maintenance planning and scheduling.
