Role Overview

The Manager of Accounts is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations. This includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, efficient cash flow management, and acting as the key liaison for internal departments and external partners like banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee monthly and annual financial closing. Coordinate with external auditors for year-end finalization and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
• Payments & Disbursements: Manage and approve all payments for Head Office and Plant operations. Handle final settlements, claims, salaries, and employee benefits.
• Banking & Treasury: Manage export realizations, ensure accurate booking of bank transactions, and oversee timely payments of profit/markup, loans, and other bank obligations.
• Documentation & Control: Maintain all financial documentation for audits. Verify the accuracy of financial vouchers, bank entries, and general ledger postings against company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional Qualification: ACA or ACCA certification is preferred.
• Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and taxation.
• Management Experience: At least 3 years in a managerial role.
