We are seeking a skilled and strategic Assistant Manager Procurement to join our Fabrics vertical. This role is critical for managing the sourcing and procurement of chemicals essential to our fabric-dyeing operations, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing plans specifically for fabric-dyeing chemicals.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage a reliable supplier base, fostering strong long-term partnerships.
- Lead and conduct contract negotiations to secure optimal terms in pricing, quality, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.
- Utilize the company's ERP system to create and manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and generate insightful procurement reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously track and analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and supplier landscapes to anticipate risks, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive process improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or a related field, preferably within textiles, chemicals, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemical markets, key suppliers, and pricing dynamics is essential.
- Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems for procurement activities.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and understanding of compliance standards.
