Job Description
About the Role:
Sarena Industries is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Manager for HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Compliance & Sustainability. This role is critical for ensuring our operations adhere to the highest standards of environmental responsibility, social compliance, and worker safety. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving our sustainability initiatives and maintaining our certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Standards & Certification: Assist in the implementation and management of sustainability standards and certifications, including Higg, SEDEX, SLCP, STEP by Oeko-Tex, etc.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable local and international HSE regulations.
- Audit & Training Support: Support internal and external audits, conduct training programs for staff, and help develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
- Traceability Certificates: Develop and manage Transaction Certificates for various traceability standards including GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS, and others.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualification: B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences or an equivalent degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a relevant field (HSE, Compliance, Sustainability).
