Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Asst. Production Manager to oversee our biscuit and confectionery manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in managing production processes, workforce, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with company policies related to Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily biscuit/confectionery production to achieve targets for quality, efficiency, and output.
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, hygiene, and food safety & quality standards across all production lines.
• Monitor and control raw material consumption, packaging material wastage, and overall production efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen automation initiatives to enhance productivity and process reliability.
• Implement plant optimization projects to improve performance and reduce operational costs.
• Lead, train, and motivate production teams to foster a culture of manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.Sc./B.E. in Food Technology or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 4–5 years in the biscuit/confectionery or food manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and quality systems (HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000).
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
