Job Description
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage all airport services operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, efficiency, and customer service for passengers on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all passenger handling activities, including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and lounge services.
- Lead, train, and manage the airport services team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure strict compliance with airline, airport, and international safety and security regulations (e.g., IATA, ICAO).
- Liaise with airport authorities, ground handling agents, and other airlines to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage flight disruptions, delays, and irregular operations effectively, minimizing passenger inconvenience.
- Monitor and control the department's budget and resources.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in airline airport operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of passenger handling procedures and DCS (Departure Control Systems).
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
