Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory & Store Officer to manage inventory and stock operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring stock movement, and ensuring timely procurement of required items to support operational efficiency and avoid shortages or excesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update inventory records for all incoming and outgoing items.
- Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment.
- Prepare purchase requests/orders for new stock and coordinate with the procurement department.
- Receive and inspect delivered items to ensure compliance with order specifications.
- Issue materials/items to departments based on approved requests and maintain records.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with system records.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of items in the store.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damage, or loss of inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to inventory and storage.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of proven experience in inventory or store management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of basic procurement and logistics processes will be a plus.
