Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Design, implement, and manage a robust and secure network infrastructure, including:
- Enterprise-grade routers, layer 2/3 switches, next-generation firewalls, and wireless controllers.
- Structured cabling systems (Cat6/6a, single/multi-mode fiber optics).
- Proactively monitor network performance, analyze trends, and implement optimizations to enhance availability, capacity, and security.
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot advanced network services (LAN/WAN, VPN, VoIP, QoS, SD-WAN).
- Provide timely resolution of network incidents and problems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Networking Protocols: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, DHCP, DNS, and QoS.
- Network Hardware: Advanced configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting experience with Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar enterprise hardware.
- Network Security: Practical experience implementing security measures within firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, and NAC solutions.
- Structured Cabling: Proficiency in designing, terminating, and testing both copper and fiber optic cabling infrastructure.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a methodical approach to issue resolution.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
