Job Description

Job Purpose:
To provide effective and timely technical support to end-users, ensuring the stability and functionality of desktop systems, software, and peripheral equipment to maintain high productivity across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees facing IT issues, providing support in-person, over the phone, or via remote tools.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (laptops, desktops, printers) and software (operating systems, office applications).
  • Manage user accounts, including setup, permissions, and password resets in Active Directory.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues for local users.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff while maintaining communication with the end-user.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in a similar IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus.
