Job Description

Job Summary

Twentyfourseven Consultancy is looking for a skilled and motivated IT Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of all network and system services during the evening shift. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong foundational knowledge of network administration and IT support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and manage help desk operations to resolve IT issues efficiently.
  • Administer and maintain Windows OS, servers, and Active Directory.
  • Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including VPN, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN.
  • Configure and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, and VLANs.
  • Implement and manage firewall rules and security policies using PfSense or similar.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high levels of availability and security.
  • Document IT procedures, system configurations, and network diagrams.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Certifications: CCNA & MCSE are a significant plus.
  • Experience: 6 Months to 1 Year of relevant experience in IT operations or a similar role.

Technical Skills

  • Operating Systems & Services: Proficiency in Windows OS, Server, and Active Directory.
  • Networking: Strong understanding of VPN, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN architectures.
  • Network Management: Hands-on experience with Switching, Routing, and VLANs.
  • Security: Experience with Firewall configuration and management (PfSense preferred).
  • Support: Experience in Help Desk and Technical Support.

Soft Skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently during the evening shift.
