Job Description:
The company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory & Store Officer to manage inventory and stock operations. This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring there are no shortages or excesses of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accurate records for all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and identify items that need to be replenished.
- Prepare purchase requests and coordinate with the procurement department.
- Receive, inspect, and verify delivered items against order specifications.
- Issue materials to departments based on approved requests and maintain records.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile them with system data.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all items in the store.
- Report any discrepancies, damage, or loss of inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory and storage policies.
- Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in inventory or store management.
- Preferred: Experience with elevators, escalators, and related equipment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of basic procurement and logistics processes is a plus.
