Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Management Officer to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, managing stock across multiple locations, and supporting the supply chain to meet company objectives. This role is critical in minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records across the assigned location (Faisalabad, Gujranwala, or Rawalpindi).
  • Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and losses.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor stock movements, including receipts, storage, and dispatches.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track, analyze, and report on stock levels.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized and maintained in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
  • Identify and report on slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
  • Experience within the FMCG industry is mandatory.

 

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
