Utopia Industries is looking for a proactive and dynamic professional to join our team as a Deputy Manager of Industrial Relations (IR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive organizational culture within our plastic and metal manufacturing units.

 

Job Overview

The Deputy Manager IR will play a critical role in managing and maintaining healthy employee relationships, ensuring legal compliance, and resolving conflicts to promote a harmonious and productive work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain healthy relationships between employees and management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Handle employee grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution effectively.
  • Facilitate and promote employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
  • Prepare and maintain all IR-related documentation, reports, and records.
  • Develop, implement, and update industrial relations policies and procedures.
  • Provide training to staff and management on key industrial relations topics.
  • Facilitate transparent and open communication between employees and management.
  • Perform routine audits of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations.

 

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM), Law, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in Industrial Relations within a manufacturing or industrial setup.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistani labor laws, compliance requirements, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a balanced, professional approach.
