Job Description
1. Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager HR is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources functions. This role is pivotal in managing the recruitment lifecycle, developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring legal compliance, and serving as a key point of contact for employee relations and guidance. The incumbent will contribute to fostering a productive, compliant, and positive work environment across the Hashmanis Group of Hospitals.
2. Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, and conducting interviews.
- Ensure the selection and onboarding of highly qualified and competent candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs.
HR Policy & Procedure Management:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure all HR practices are in full compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
Employee Relations & Support:
- Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues and workplace conflicts.
Performance Management:
- Support the administration and guidance of the performance appraisal system.
- Assist managers in setting performance goals and addressing performance issues effectively.
Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports on key areas such as recruitment, attrition, and employee matters.
- Complete and submit all required internal and external surveys accurately and on time.
3. Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background:
- Mandatory: A Master's degree in Human Resource Management from a reputable university.
- Preferred: Additional professional certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRP) will be strongly recommended and given preference.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of proven, hands-on experience in a generalist HR role.
- Experience within the healthcare or hospital industry will be a significant advantage.

- Recruitment Expertise: Proven ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
