Job Summary:
The Laboratory Manager directs the operations of the clinical laboratory, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of all diagnostic testing services in compliance with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of all laboratory sections (hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, etc.).
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control and quality assurance protocols (e.g., ISO, CAP).
• Oversee laboratory staffing, training, and competency assessments.
• Manage laboratory information systems (LIS) and the integration of new testing methodologies.
• Ensure the laboratory meets all accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory of reagents, supplies, and laboratory equipment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Medical Technology, Biochemistry, or a related life science.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Certification from a recognized medical laboratory board is highly desirable.
